Welcome to the New Year! We here at QiVantage hope 2019 is a prosperous, healthy new year. Every time we have to toss out our old calendars (or let our phones and computers flip the page) we get a chance to start anew. Whether that means securing more professional success, losing weight, or repairing damaged muscles and joints, there are many opportunities, and the New Year offers the perfect time to pursue them.

Many people have already made and are pursuing their New Year’s Resolution, but actually sticking to those resolutions is far easier said than done. That’s why we’re going to offer some tips for you to stick to your goals. Even if your resolutions don’t line up with our tips, the general takeaways should help.

1. How to Lose Weight and Get in Shape in 2019

Got a new gym membership? Thinking about picking one up. Great! However, as many gym goers know, the gyms come January are often packed but by March they are half empty again. Fortunately, when it comes to hitting the gym, losing weight, and getting in shape, there are steps you can take to increase your chances of success.

First, when it comes to your gym membership, take it easy. When we’re talking about getting in shape, it’s almost always the steadiest horse that wins the race. Instead of dragging yourself to the gym seven days a week, try going every other day instead.

On your off-gym days, why not day a long walk in the park or do some sit-ups, jumping jacks and push-ups at home? Sore muscles and joints? Take a dip in the pool as you’ll both burn calories and take it easy on your injured joints and muscles. What’s important is developing a routine. Spend 30 minutes to an hour a day getting some type of exercise, even if it’s a lite, easy workout.

And don’t overdo it, especially if you’re out of shape. If you push too hard, you’ll potentially pull your muscles and strain your joints. Once you suffer an M&J injury, you’re much less likely to continue your workout regime. (Of course, if you do suffer an injury, you may be able to get back into shape more quickly by using a natural muscle and joint healing kit.)

2. Focus Will Lead to Personal and Professional Success

Focus is one of the keys to success. That’s true for both your personal and professional life. Of course, life can get busy and it’s easy to become distracted. Work, family, personal relationships, TV, video games, movies, so many things to occupy one’s mind.

Yet a bit of inner focus can go a long way towards helping you secure personal and professional success. Meditation, yoga, and similar activities might feel like a “waste of time” if you haven’t tried them. However, a bit of inner focus can help you optimize the rest of your time much more efficiently.

Studies have found that meditation can help improve productivity. This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Meditation may be able to improve focus, reduce stress, and help you sleep more soundly at night. This will pay off when it comes time to make the most of your time.

3. Make Your Body Well and Healthy

If you’re both getting regular exercise and using relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga, you’re already progressing towards a more healthy life. However, there are some steps you can take to improve your health even more.

First, start with a natural detox. Over the course of the year, your body can become clogged with gunk. Chemicals, bacteria, and various other contaminants can pile up. Fortunately, the body is good at cleaning itself out. Unfortunately, your body may need a helping hand from time to time. That’s where an all natural detox kit comes in.

Next, be mindful of your aches and pains. Even if you’re taking it easy in your workout routine, you can still suffer injuries, minor and major. Pay attention to your body as it usually knows what’s best. If you’re suffering muscle and/or joint aches and pains, treat them naturally and allow your body to heal!

Anyways, we want to welcome you once again to the New Year! 2019 can be your year of health and success. It’ll require effort, but with focus and consistency, you’ll be both shocked and pleased by your progress!
